Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with Honeywell's global policies.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sourcing strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and Honeywell's ethical standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain policies and procedures in the Pacific region.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a global organization.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to supply chain management.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is highly desirable.
