Responsibility
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, with strict adherence to protocols.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations, providing immediate and appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, hygiene, and safety standards in all nursing practices.
- Participate in training programs and professional development to stay updated with the latest pediatric nursing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification; registered nurse license is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with a strong background in clinical care.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients and families.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical software is an advantage.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address patient needs effectively.
