Responsibility
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared and sterile.
- Monitor and maintain the patient’s condition before, during, and after surgery, including vital signs and anesthesia response.
- Implement and adhere to strict infection control and aseptic techniques in the operating theatre.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow, including patient positioning, draping, and instrument handling.
- Administer and document medications, fluids, and blood products as required during surgery.
- Provide postoperative care, including wound management and patient recovery monitoring.
- Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures, patient responses, and care provided.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the Indonesian Nursing Council (or equivalent for international candidates).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nurse, with at least 2 years in an Operating Theatre (OT) setting.
- Certification in Perioperative Nursing (e.g., CNOR or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
