Responsibility

  • Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations at chairside.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.
  • Manage reception duties, including scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking dental supplies and materials.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Dental Assisting from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography systems.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and dental procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
  • Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain it.
