Responsibility
- Provide direct and specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, laboratory results, and clinical symptoms, and report any changes to the medical team promptly.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians, while ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety.
- Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps, to support patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health management strategies to promote recovery and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards to maintain a safe and hygienic ICU environment.
- Participate in continuous professional development, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the relevant nursing council or regulatory body.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Proficiency in operating ICU equipment, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practices, and continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
