Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including neurological exams, vital signs, and symptom evaluation in an ambulatory setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans in collaboration with physicians and specialists.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to improve long-term health outcomes.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (neurologists, physiotherapists, social workers) to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Provide emergency response and crisis intervention for acute neurological episodes in the ambulatory unit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (S1 Keperawatan) or equivalent, with a valid nursing license in Indonesia (STR & SIP).
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in neurological nursing, with at least 2 years in an ambulatory or outpatient setting.
- Proven expertise in assessing and managing neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
