In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures that drive operational efficiency, security, and customer experience for leading financial institutions. Responsibility
- Architect and Design: Develop end-to-end cloud-native and hybrid solutions for enterprise banking systems, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with financial regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) implementations, including migration strategies, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with C-level executives, IT teams, and business units to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and actionable solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectures adhere to zero-trust principles, encryption standards, and financial-grade security protocols.
- Innovation & R&D: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, serverless computing) to enhance banking operations and customer experiences.
- Documentation & Governance: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and disaster recovery plans.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Liaise with cloud providers, SaaS vendors, and third-party integrators to ensure seamless interoperability and service delivery.
- Mentorship & Training: Upskill internal teams on cloud best practices, DevOps, and modern software development methodologies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in solution architecture, with at least 5 years specializing in cloud and enterprise systems for the banking/financial sector.
- Cloud Expertise: Certified in AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in microservices, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial data security, identity management (IAM), and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Programming & Scripting: Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Go, and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities to bridge technical and business gaps.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Bonus: Experience with open banking APIs, digital wallets, or fintech integrations is a plus.
