Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for software applications using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or similar).
- Collaborate with software developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure thorough coverage of software functionality.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and load testing to validate software stability and scalability.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
- Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and ensure alignment with testing objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes.
- Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cypress).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
