Responsibility
- Design and develop a secure Chrome Extension with features like password management, auto-fill, and encrypted storage.
- Implement FIDO2/WebAuthn authentication flows for passwordless and multi-factor login experiences.
- Integrate and optimize backend APIs (REST/GraphQL) for seamless data synchronization and user sessions.
- Conduct security audits and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the extension and API layers.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, accessible interfaces for security-critical workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented TypeScript/JavaScript code with a focus on performance.
- Monitor and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring low-latency interactions for global users.
- Stay ahead of emerging security standards (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) and browser extension best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on web security or authentication systems.
- Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, Chrome Extension API, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
- Deep understanding of FIDO2/WebAuthn, OAuth, JWT, and cryptographic principles.
- Experience with backend development (Node.js, Python, or Go) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, including input validation, CSRF/XSS prevention, and data encryption.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
