Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for Google Pay Ads, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and data scientists to define and implement innovative commerce features.
- Optimize payment processing pipelines to enhance speed, accuracy, and fraud detection capabilities.
- Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews to align solutions with Googleâs long-term vision for digital payments.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages like Java, Go, or Python, adhering to best practices.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements to minimize downtime.

Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on backend systems, APIs, or distributed computing.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or C++ and experience with modern frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles for large-scale applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with payment systems, ad tech, or financial services is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex, high-traffic systems.
