Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain C#-based software applications for industrial automation systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define software requirements for automation projects in APAC and LATAM.
- Implement and optimize PLC communication, OPC UA, and Modbus protocols for seamless integration with industrial hardware.
- Lead software testing, debugging, and performance tuning to meet stringent industrial standards.
- Travel to client sites (80% of the time) to deploy solutions, provide on-site support, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Document software architectures, APIs, and user manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in Industry 4.0, IoT, and edge computing to drive innovation.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in software development for automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in C# development, with a focus on industrial automation or embedded systems.
- Proven expertise in industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus) and PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, WPF, and MVVM for building robust applications.
- Experience with SCADA systems, HMI development, or IoT platforms is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively (80%) across APAC and LATAM for project deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Spanish, Mandarin) are advantageous.
