Responsibility
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for real-time medical device applications.
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software modules using C++ and/or C#.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including hardware and firmware engineers, to integrate software with complex instrumentation.
- Ensure all software development adheres to stringent medical device regulatory standards and quality management systems.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, debug critical performance issues, and optimize real-time system responses.
- Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in software design, testing, and continuous integration.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and validation protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with deep proficiency in C++ or C#.
- Proven experience working in real-time embedded systems or medical device software environments.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning in low-latency environments.
- Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
