Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications for water resource management, data analytics, and IoT integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, hydrologists, UX designers) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and low latency for global users.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to streamline deployment.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across distributed systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML for predictive modeling) and advocate for their adoption.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews to uphold best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a portfolio of deployed applications.
- Proficiency in backend frameworks (Django, Flask, Spring) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a remote/hybrid team.
- Passion for sustainability or water technology is a plus.
