Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during medical treatment.
- Coordinate with community resources to ensure patients have access to necessary services (e.g., financial aid, housing, transportation).
- Advocate for patient rights and ensure ethical standards are upheld in all interactions.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops for patients and caregivers.
- Document all interventions and progress in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to optimize patient care strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (accredited by relevant authorities).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical or healthcare social work.
- Strong knowledge of psychosocial interventions and patient advocacy principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local community resources and social service systems in Bali.
- Proficiency in documentation and case management software.
- Certification or licensure in social work (preferred).
