Responsibility
- Lead advanced threat hunting initiatives to identify and neutralize potential cyber threats.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents and provide actionable insights for remediation.
- Develop and refine detection rules and algorithms using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.
- Automate SOC processes to improve efficiency and response times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture.
- Mentor junior SOC analysts and provide technical guidance.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and trends to proactively update security measures.
- Generate comprehensive reports on security incidents and threat landscapes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SOC environment, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and KQL.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and incident response methodologies.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
