Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Lead incident response, conduct post-mortems, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve observability, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Automate repetitive tasks and infrastructure provisioning to reduce manual intervention and human error.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into infrastructure and deployment workflows.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to improve system resilience and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
- Deep understanding of networking, load balancing, and CDN technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 on-call environment.
