Responsibility
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements.
- Lead the implementation of ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Optimize existing ServiceNow instances for performance, usability, and security.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript, Glide API, and REST/SOAP integrations to extend platform functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices, updates, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP web services, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and integrations (e.g., SSO, LDAP, MID Server).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex workflows and scripts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in public sector or enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations is a plus.
