Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive security solutions to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor security infrastructure, detect anomalies, and respond to incidents in real-time to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Educate employees on security awareness, phishing prevention, and safe data handling practices.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) systems, ensuring least-privilege access principles are applied.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Masterâs preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on infrastructure security, network security, or application security.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, ELK), IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption standards, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or OSCP are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes situations.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
