In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in configuring, testing, and deploying SAP FICO modules within S/4HANA Public Cloud, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial transformation. Your expertise will be critical in preparing for Go-Live readiness, troubleshooting complex financial processes, and ensuring alignment with global accounting standards.
Based in the vibrant hubs of Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.), this contract position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to high-impact enterprise projects. Responsibility
- Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, etc.) in a Public Cloud environment.
- Ensure financial compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulations through accurate system setup and validation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map financial processes, and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
- Lead data migration activities, ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial data from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
- Conduct end-to-end testing (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve issues to meet Go-Live deadlines.
- Provide user training and documentation for finance teams on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
- Monitor system performance, optimize financial workflows, and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with at least 2+ years in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Proven track record of full-cycle SAP implementations (Bluefield, Greenfield, or Brownfield migrations).
- Deep knowledge of Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including CO-PA, PCA, and Profitability Analysis.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Scrum frameworks for project delivery.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based financial integrations (e.g., with banks, tax authorities, or third-party systems).
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to bridge gaps between technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
