Responsibility
- Architect and Develop: Lead the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable Java-based applications and microservices for enterprise use cases.
- Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- System Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and architectural gaps in existing systems.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with product managers, architects, and developers to align technical solutions with business objectives. Mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Innovation & R&D: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the company’s technical stack and competitive edge.
- Code Quality & Standards: Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, including data protection and privacy standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between business and technology.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience, with at least 3 years in a Principal/Lead Engineer role.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Architectural Skills: Strong background in designing microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance at scale.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, and driving technical excellence.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bonus: Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop), NoSQL databases, or DevOps practices is a plus.
