Responsibility
- Lead daily sales operations, ensuring targets are met and exceeded through proactive customer engagement.
- Mentor and train junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Provide expert product knowledge on surfboards, accessories, and related gear to customers of all skill levels.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to boost store revenue and customer retention.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the management team to analyze sales data and adjust inventory or promotions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space that reflects our brandâs premium standards.
- Stay updated on surf industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in retail sales, preferably in surf or sports equipment.
- Proven track record in team leadership, coaching, or mentoring in a sales environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Deep knowledge of surfboards, materials, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to educate customers.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with ease.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and basic sales reporting.
- A genuine passion for surfing and the lifestyle, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
