Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with operational teams to integrate safety best practices into daily workflows and training programs.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and training for employees.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
- Provide expert guidance and training to employees on safety protocols, PPE usage, and hazard recognition.
- Stay updated on evolving HSE regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure Yili remains at the forefront of safety excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety engineering role, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or a regulated industry.
- Certification in OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, NEBOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations and international safety standards.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and train employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
