Responsibility
- Lead the design, planning, and supervision of road construction and rehabilitation projects in Bali, ensuring compliance with Indonesian and international engineering standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and traffic impact assessments to optimize project viability and sustainability.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.
- Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to secure permits, approvals, and community buy-in.
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and safety protocols to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Incorporate sustainable and resilient design principles, including drainage systems, erosion control, and low-impact materials.
- Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and post-construction evaluations for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Road/Transportation specialization preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in road engineering, with a proven track record in project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in Indonesia (e.g., Sertifikat Keahlian).
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, or Bentley OpenRoads.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian road design standards (e.g., SNI, Bina Marga) and international best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working on projects in tropical or coastal environments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia.
