Responsibility
- Lead and design human factors research projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives.
- Develop and validate user-centered design frameworks to improve product usability, safety, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, psychologists) to integrate research findings into practical solutions.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to derive actionable insights.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and ROI of research initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in human factors, ergonomics, and cognitive psychology to maintain a competitive edge.
- Mentor junior researchers and provide guidance on methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements in all research activities.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, Ergonomics, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in applied research, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in experimental design, statistical analysis (e.g., SPSS, R, Python), and data visualization.
- Strong understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI), cognitive load theory, and usability principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, business-relevant insights.
- Experience working in multicultural or international settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9241, ISO 13407) and accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
