Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end product development, from conceptualization to mass production, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
- Design and optimize electrical circuits, PCBs, and embedded firmware for high-reliability electronic systems.
- Develop and test mechanical prototypes, including enclosures, heat dissipation solutions, and assembly processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and improve yield, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes and final products to meet industry standards (e.g., CE, FCC, RoHS).
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies in electronics manufacturing and recommend innovative solutions to enhance product performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, including software and QA departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electronics R&D, product design, or manufacturing, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Proficient in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
- Strong expertise in embedded systems (C/C++, Python, RTOS) and firmware development for microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, etc.).
- Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, debugging, and testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Familiarity with industry standards (IPC, UL, ISO) and compliance certifications for electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
