Responsibility
- Lead the formulation and development of advanced cosmeceutical products, ensuring alignment with scientific research and market trends.
- Design and execute stability, compatibility, and efficacy testing to validate product performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with global cosmetic standards (e.g., FDA, EU, ASEAN).
- Optimize existing formulations for cost efficiency, scalability, and sustainability without compromising quality.
- Stay abreast of emerging ingredients, technologies, and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
- Document all R&D processes, including lab notebooks, SOPs, and technical reports, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Mentor junior chemists and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of scientific excellence.
- Present research findings and product proposals to stakeholders with clear, data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Cosmetic Science; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cosmeceutical or skincare R&D, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
- Deep expertise in formulation chemistry, including emulsions, surfactants, and active ingredient integration.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, rheology, microscopy) and stability testing protocols.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for cosmetics (e.g., ISO 22716, GMP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot formulation challenges.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
- Passion for sustainability and clean beauty principles is highly desirable.
