Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tender documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
- Conduct detailed cost estimations, including material, labor, and overhead expenses, to support tender submissions.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms and minimize financial risks.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value-engineering solutions without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to align financial plans with project timelines and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the tender and project lifecycle.
- Resolve contractual disputes and claims, maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on tender processes in the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, contract negotiation, and financial management for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, MS Project) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contractual and financial data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market conditions is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
