Responsibility
- Assist the SHES Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring safety, health, environment, and security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential workplace risks.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international SHES regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Organize and deliver SHES training programs, workshops, and toolbox talks for employees at all levels.
- Monitor and report on SHES performance metrics, KPIs, and compliance status to senior management.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate SHES considerations into project planning, execution, and closure phases.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including permits, certifications, and audit reports, in accordance with legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SHES management, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or heavy industry sectors.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian SHES regulations and international standards (e.g., OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations with a data-driven approach.
- Proficiency in SHES management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
