Responsibility
- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) components of green construction projects.
- Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for M&E systems.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide accurate cost forecasts to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to align cost plans with design and sustainability goals.
- Implement value engineering strategies to optimize M&E costs without compromising quality or green certification standards.
- Prepare and present monthly cost reports, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and H2G Green’s sustainability policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, preferably in green or sustainable construction.
- Proven expertise in cost planning, tendering, and contract administration for M&E systems.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Candy, CostX, AutoCAD, Revit, or Primavera).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to work in multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with LEED, BREEAM, or Green Mark certification standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of local (Indonesian) construction regulations and market conditions is advantageous.
- PMP, RICS, or other relevant professional certifications are highly regarded.
