Responsibility
- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning for M&E and ACMV projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, tenders, and subcontractor agreements to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project expenses without compromising quality.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide monthly cost reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to align financial plans with technical requirements.
- Resolve disputes and claims related to payments, delays, or contract breaches.
- Mentor junior quantity surveyors and provide guidance on best practices in cost control.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years specializing in M&E or ACMV projects.
- Proven track record in cost control, contract administration, and tendering for large-scale construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX) and MS Office (Excel, Project).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market rates is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus.
