Responsibility
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction and property development projects.
- Develop and manage tender documents, bills of quantities, and contract specifications in compliance with IFS standards.
- Evaluate and compare contractor and subcontractor submissions, pricing, and proposals to ensure value for money.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and process change orders and claims efficiently.
- Conduct risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and project feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align financial plans with design and execution strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all financial and contractual matters.
- Provide monthly cost reports and financial updates to stakeholders, highlighting deviations and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in real estate, property development, or large-scale construction.
- Proven expertise in IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems) or similar ERP software for cost management and project accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes, contract law, and dispute resolution in the construction industry.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS), and BIM tools.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market practices is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team in a fast-paced environment.
