Responsibility
- Prepare and manage bills of quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Conduct material sourcing and procurement, negotiating with suppliers to secure cost-effective, high-quality resources.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide financial reports to stakeholders.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and costs.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks through value engineering and cost-benefit analysis.
- Prepare and evaluate contractual agreements, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards in Bali.
- Lead post-contract administration, including interim valuations and final account settlements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy, or similar) and MS Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT) and Indonesian procurement laws.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with fluency in English.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or tropical climates is a plus.
- Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
