Join Search Personnel as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the dynamic construction and civil engineering sector in Bali, Indonesia. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the entire financial lifecycle of civil projects, from initial cost estimates and budget preparation to final account settlements. Your expertise in take-offs, variation orders (VOs), subcontractor cost management, and claims resolution will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Based in Badung—a hub for tourism, commercial, and residential development—you’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation. Whether it’s a luxury resort in Nusa Dua, a commercial complex in Kuta, or infrastructure in Denpasar, your role will be pivotal in shaping Bali’s skyline.

Responsibility
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cash flow forecasts and cost control measures.
- Prepare and negotiate variation orders (VOs), claims, and final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
- Evaluate and compare subcontractor tenders, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align cost estimates with design and construction timelines.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, contracts, and industry standards in all financial documentation.
- Provide monthly cost reports and financial analysis to stakeholders for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for civil engineering or construction projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes in Indonesia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, JCT, or other standard construction contracts is advantageous.
