Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement advanced BMS and HVAC control systems for commercial and industrial buildings.
- Create and optimize control logic, sequences, and algorithms to enhance system efficiency and performance.
- Lead the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure seamless operation and compliance with industry standards.
- Integrate and configure BACnet, Modbus, and other communication protocols for interoperability with third-party systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions on time and within budget.
- Provide technical support and training to clients, ensuring smooth handover and long-term system reliability.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in building automation.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including schematics, sequences of operation, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in BMS/HVAC controls design, programming, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, or other building automation protocols.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, DDC, or SCADA systems and control logic development.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy management, and building automation standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems under pressure.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
