Responsibility
- Install, commission, and maintain CRAC and CRAH units, chillers, and associated cooling systems in data centre environments.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cooling systems, including temperature control, airflow management, and humidity regulation.
- Collaborate with data centre operations teams to integrate cooling systems with Building Management Systems (BMS) for centralized monitoring and control.
- Conduct performance testing and generate reports to assess system efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of cooling-related issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards, including ASHRAE guidelines, to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data centre cooling technology and recommend upgrades or optimizations as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in servicing and maintaining CRAC, CRAH, or chiller systems, preferably in data centre environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing cooling systems, including refrigeration cycles, compressors, and heat exchangers.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and SCADA systems for remote monitoring and control.
- Strong understanding of ASHRAE standards and best practices for data centre cooling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Certifications such as EPA 608, RETA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and potentially to other regions for on-site support.
