Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractor services to ensure project feasibility.
- Conduct tender evaluations, including bid comparisons, and recommend the most cost-effective and reliable vendors.
- Administer contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to protect the company’s interests.
- Monitor and control project budgets, tracking expenditures and forecasting costs to prevent overruns.
- Perform monthly cost reporting and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to align financial plans with design and execution strategies.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks through proactive identification of cost-saving opportunities and contingency planning.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all financial and contractual matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. RICS or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale construction or real estate development.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market conditions is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus.
