Responsibility
- Prepare, analyze, and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Administer contracts, including tender evaluations, negotiations, and variations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures, track cost performance, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including cost overruns, delays, and contractual disputes.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate quantity take-offs and procurement of materials.
- Prepare and present detailed financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and final accounts.
- Ensure all project documentation, including bills of quantities, contracts, and change orders, is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects in Bali or Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations, standards, and contract law.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS, or PQS) is an advantage.
