As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial and contractual success of our projects. Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction and maintenance projects.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure costs are controlled and aligned with contractual agreements.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and final accounts in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and verify quantities of materials and work completed.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve financial and contractual issues.
- Review and analyze contract documents to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or a related role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
