Responsibility
- Manage and oversee all aspects of project costs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, and cost estimates.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with budget and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to optimize project costs.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and terms.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in quantity surveying.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and tendering processes.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification in quantity surveying is a plus.
