Responsibility
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical solutions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to facilitate clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure project success.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in QA and business analysis to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Business Analysis, with a proven track record in both roles.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and collaboration with global teams.
