Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications using industry-leading frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies, identify edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain test data management strategies to ensure realistic and scalable test environments.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, and automation ROI) to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in test automation and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Testing, with a focus on automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, global team.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
