Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Lead end-to-end QA processes within the SDLC, from requirement analysis to post-deployment validation, using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Cypress) to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues promptly.
- Mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality ownership and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance, security, and usability testing to ensure systems meet non-functional requirements.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and present insights to stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in QA and testing tools, recommending process improvements to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven expertise in manual and automated testing (UI, API, database) for web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Certifications in QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
