Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
- Lead automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to identify and resolve defects early in the SDLC.
- Analyze test results, document bugs, and track resolutions using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
- Mentor junior QA team members and advocate for quality assurance best practices across the organization.
- Stay updated on emerging testing tools, industry trends, and agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and sprint planning to align QA efforts with development goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on mobile and web applications.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
