Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and caching mechanisms to ensure low-latency responses under heavy load.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA) to deliver scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
- Implement and enforce best practices in code quality, security, and API design (REST/gRPC).
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and proactively resolve performance issues.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for new features and system improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in backend technologies (e.g., microservices, Kubernetes, serverless).
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Engineer, with a focus on large-scale or internet-based systems.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js (expertise in multiple languages is a plus).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex, high-traffic systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
