Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts for complex software solutions, ensuring 100% coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) to accelerate regression and performance testing.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines, reducing deployment risks.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, prioritizing fixes based on business impact.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to validate system stability under high user traffic.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality through best practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Analyze test results and user feedback to recommend improvements in software design and functionality.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in QA methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Postman, JMeter) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
- Expertise in API, UI, and database testing, including REST/SOAP and SQL queries.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
