Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform regression, smoke, and performance testing to ensure software stability.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices in QA and recommend process improvements.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Postman, RestAssured).
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#) for scripting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a proactive mindset.
