Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect organizational assets.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure configuration and maintenance of networks and systems.
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance organizational security posture.
- Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and best practices.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey security risks and solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
