Join Nanyang Tech as a Senior Network Engineer in the heart of Bali, Indonesia! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise-grade network infrastructure across multiple locations in Bali, including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and more.
In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our network systems, supporting both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable network architectures that align with business objectives while maintaining robust cybersecurity standards.

Responsibility
- Network Design & Implementation: Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network solutions tailored to business needs.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Security Management: Enforce network security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless connectivity for end-users.
- Cloud Integration: Collaborate with cloud teams to design hybrid network architectures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configurations, and compliance records in adherence to industry standards (ISO, ITIL).
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with ISPs, hardware vendors, and internal teams to procure and deploy network equipment and services.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test network backup and recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, with expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei devices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in routing/switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), load balancers, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of network security principles, including VPNs, ACLs, and zero-trust architectures.
- Cloud Familiarity: Experience with cloud networking (AWS Direct Connect, Azure Virtual Network, GCP Interconnect).
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to network management.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
