Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to ensure supply continuity and cost optimization.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and engineering, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Lead supplier evaluation, selection, and relationship management to foster long-term partnerships.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower costs.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or electronics industry.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
