Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to support restaurant operations and new openings.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients, equipment, and services at optimal costs.
- Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely deliveries to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with chefs, F&B managers, and finance teams to align purchasing decisions with menu development and budgetary goals.
- Implement sustainable and ethical sourcing practices to enhance brand reputation and compliance.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and expenditures for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Lead and mentor junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality or F&B industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of local and international food safety standards, import/export regulations, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
